Advocating for Gender-Responsive Climate Policies in Kathmandu

Ojaswi Nepal, in partnership with local women leaders, has submitted a policy brief to the Kathmandu Metropolitan City office, pushing for the integration of gender-responsive budgeting and decision-making into the new climate change adaptation strategies. This initiative aims to ensure that environmental policies address the disproportionate impact of climate change on women and marginalized farmers.
